Deferred Payment Plan Options

Mason Deferred Payment Plan

A two installment payment plan is available for students who need to budget at a minimum of $500. A payment contract must be completed at the Student Accounts Office (North Chesapeake Module) and must be submitted to the Cashier's Office (Student Union I, Room 104) with a down payment (1/2 the contract amount plus fee). The payment contract forms are available in the published Schedule of Classes and at the Office of Student Accounts. The contract fee is $25 and is nonrefundable. Failure to pay the outstanding balance by the due date on the contract will result in a late fee up to $250, financial suspension, and ineligibility to defer payments in future terms. Semester Payment Plan contracts can be downloaded from the Student Account web site.

Full-time students may budget all or part of their yearly tuition, room, and board expenses in 4 equal monthly installments. A life benefit insurance plan is included. A minimum budget amount is required, and an annual fee is charged. Third Party Payment Authorizations

Third-party payment authorizations (a situation in which an outside entity is paying all or part of your charges) or government training payment vouchers are accepted only through Week 3 of classes and should be submitted to the Office of Student Accounts.
